From an early age, I developed a keen interest in media and gaming, which naturally progressed into a passion for advanced audiovisual technologies and video game modding. This enthusiasm for entertainment technologies inspired me to pursue a degree in Digital Media at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University, where I specialized in Game Arts. After completing my undergraduate studies, I decided to further my expertise by obtaining a Master of Arts in Digital Media.
My primary research topics were in computer graphics for simulating natural phenomena and real-time audio signal analysis for live music visualization. During my graduate studies, I was also awarded the opportunity to research multiplayer virtual reality applications at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which has provided a significant advantage in research pertaining to human-computer interaction and user interface design. Maintained a dedicated community of online players for over 2 years. Co-author, presented at the 2023 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Annual Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Graduate Studies – Music Visualization MaxMSP applications interfaced in real time with Unity via the Open Sound Control (OSC) protocol and to professional stage lights using the Digital Multiplex 512 (DMX512) protocol. Projects leveraged well-documented cross-modal mappings, drawing on findings from psychological studies, to ensure strong associations between auditory and visual experiences. Graduate Studies – Virtual Reality Development Invited to Bauhaus University to research and develop multi-user virtual reality applications using OpenXR-based frameworks. Projects involved synchronized online events and common VR navigation/manipulation techniques. |
